April 24, 2008: Come out to our May 3rd gig at The Washington Crossing Inn, where we'll be giving away a pair of Phillies tickets to the winner of the monthly dance contest.

April 25, 2006: American Hawk is in the semi-finals of Philly's 102.9 WMGK classic rock house band contest! We will be at: Kildare's Irish Pub 509-511 South 2nd Street, Phila, PA on Thursday August 9. Starting time is 7:30PM with 3 other bands to battle it out. Each band will play 4 songs each. The order the bands will play in will be determined the night of the contest. --- We’d love to see you at Kildare’s !!!
April 25, 2006: American Hawk would like to announce our new bassist/vocalist, Petey B. He is a veteran of the New Jersey music scene and lives near the Jersey shore. Welcome Pete!
April 21, 2006: American Hawk is heading into the studio, Retromedia Sound Studios in Red Bank, NJ, to record the new original, "The Sunset of Your Love", this week and it should be up on the website in a few weeks so you can give it a listen, Please check back and let us know what you think of it!!!

February 26, 2007: We are happy to announce, American Hawk now has 2 songs on Neil Young's "Living With War" "Songs Of The Times" website. Today, 2/26/07, "Home of the Brave" (acoustic) debuts on the list at 1432 and "These Colors Are Mine" is listed at 234 and has been on the list over 7 months. April 15, 2006: American Hawk will be the opening for The Bellamy Brothers ("Let Your Love Flow") on: Wednesday, August 30, 2006 The Commerce Bank Amphitheater Bensalem, Pa. Please bring your lawn chairs, it's an outdoor park with lawn seating only. Visit www.cbaevents.com for directions. Tickets $10. AH has added guitarist Chris Sheppard to their line-up for this concert! AH will go on at 7pm and do 35 minutes of our original music with one or two covers.
March 25, 2006: American Hawk will be recording at Retromedia Sound Studios in Red Bank, NJ, this coming week. Our new song, "High Tonight" should be available on the website in a few weeks, so please check back to give it a listen!!!
October 7, 2005: American Hawk songwriter/guitarist *Bob Rotondo* for the second year in a row has been awarded a grant from the ASCAP awards plus program for the songs on "Americana Brew".

December 10, 2004: Check out Brett Gash's impressions of American Hawk's songs off the Americana Brew cd on our new Review's page. Brett is a well respected DJ and musicologist in the New Jersey music scene.
July 29, 2004: American Hawk T-Shirts available!!! We are happy to announce American Hawk T-shirts are available at all our gigs... Shirts come in either XL or Medium and are priced at $10.00. The shirt will feature the American Hawk logo. Supplies are limited, so if you would like to purchase a shirt, please see us at one of our gigs.

February 14, 2004 The 5th & 6th grade chorus at Goodnoe Elementary school in Newtown, Pa. will perform Bob's song "Home of the Brave" at their spring concert in April 2004.
